In water supply, we ensure the purification and distribution of drinking water in Berlin and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pumping stations, and water plants.
Description
Your Responsibilities at Our Company:
You are primarily responsible for the alarm monitoring, assessment, and control of the building security technology at the administrative sites of Berliner Wasserbetriebe.
This includes: protection of premises, security patrols, as well as ID and visitor management, monitoring of technical systems, alarm and emergency management, control of site access and entrances, regular patrols with condition checks and closure services.
General duties in the security service, such as electronic logbook documentation, welcoming, assisting and registering customers and guests.
The work is carried out in shifts.
Requirements
Completed training as a Certified Security Specialist with IHK certification and several years of practical experience.
Experience in shift work, such as at an airport or in property protection.
Technical understanding to operate security systems and devices.
Clean criminal record.
Class B driving licence.
Ability to work shifts.
Fluent German relevant to the role and English skills (Level B1).
Proficient with common MS Office programs.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

We offer remuneration in pay group 4 according to the Collective Agreement for Utility Companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group may also be possible.
