About the Opportunity
We’re hiring for an ambitious start-up based in Cologne, Germany, developing smart digital infrastructure solutions in the real estate and cloud services sector. With strong funding and a clear vision, the company is now looking for a Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) to help design and build secure, scalable cloud architecture from the ground up.

Your Tasks
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (or Azure / GCP)
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Automate deployments and improve reliability of distributed systems
- Ensure cloud security, scalability, and cost-efficiency
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps to create CI/CD pipelines
- Evaluate and implement new cloud services and DevOps tools
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
- Deep knowledge of AWS (alternatively Azure or Google Cloud)
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or other automation tools
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus)
- Comfortable in Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Fluent in English (company language); German not required
- Passionate about start-ups, agile teams, and modern engineering culture
