Child Care Worker

Specialist for our Open All-Day School (OGS) • Freie Waldorfschule Bergisch Gladbach

We are looking for a committed specialist (m/f/d) to immediately support our OGS team for up to 25 hours per week.

The Freie Waldorfschule Bergisch Gladbach is a single-stream, fully developed school with around 365 students from Grades 1 to 13, working based on the principles of Waldorf education. The institution is managed by the Waldorfschulverein Bergisch Gladbach e.V. The school offers open all-day care for children from Grades 1 to 6, where children are supervised after school by childcare workers. Two childcare workers are responsible for each group.

Your responsibilities include • Leading a group in the open all-day program • Independent work in daily pedagogical activities • Planning and implementing creative and age-appropriate activities • Active and trustworthy collaboration with parents • Contributing to the day-to-day schedule in line with Waldorf education

Your profile • Enjoyment in working with children • Team spirit and flexibility • Independent and structured work approach • Strong communication skills with parents and staff • Willingness to participate in further education and training
