On behalf of the state, NRW.BANK supports people, companies, and municipalities in NRW as a development bank that helps good ideas find suitable financing. We are looking to strengthen our team in Münster with an AI Developer focusing on Security for the Portals and Web Applications department.
Description
Develop and advance NRW.BANK applications in Artificial Intelligence using Python
Further develop software architecture and system integration
Participate in selecting frameworks and development tools for backend development
Technically design and implement complex requirements in the AI domain
Operate AI solutions already in productive use
Implement and advance the principle of Security by Design in AI application development
Analyse and implement new security requirements from laws and internal guidelines
Identify and analyse vulnerabilities in deployed software components
Ensure quality through unit and integration tests
Collaborate on agile projects
Advise specialised departments
Requirements
Completed degree (Diploma or Master's) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Natural Sciences with a strong IT interest
Experience in the productive operation of AI applications
Extensive experience in backend development with Python, especially FastAPI
Good knowledge in software engineering
Practical experience with development environments, version control, code quality assurance, build management, and continuous integration
Experience in vulnerability management (CVSS, SBOM, Dependency Scanning)
Experience in developing secure software systems (Security by Design) or knowledge of SSDLC is an advantage
Experience with penetration tests is advantageous
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of agile working methods is an advantage
Good English language skills, both spoken and written; very good German skills (at least C1)
