Gardener in the School & Community Garden at Dowesee (m/f/d)

The Urban Green Department maintains the diverse, historically developed School and Community Garden at Dowesee.

For this special garden project, we are seeking a gardener on a part-time basis of 30 hours per week.

• You will undertake demanding maintenance tasks in areas with seasonal plantings, perennials, and shrubs

• You will independently repair and touch up minor damage to paving, masonry, and fences

• You will operate various vehicles, machinery, and small equipment

• You are willing to be on call and participate in winter maintenance, even outside regular working hours

• You actively ensure traffic safety

• You have training as a gardener specialising in horticulture and landscaping, tree nurseries, or similar

• You hold a Class B driving licence

• You possess craftsmanship skills and practical knowledge in repairs

• Physical stamina, eagerness to work, and a reliable work ethic are your strengths

💶 Remuneration according to pay grade 6 TVöD (€3,240.30 - €3,926.20) including annual bonus
