Trainer (m/f/d) Basics Area

Borussia Dortmund is a globally recognised football club and company with over 900 employees. We are looking for a trainer in the basics area for the U9 to U11 age groups in our youth academy, either part-time or full-time.

• Planning, organising, and conducting training sessions and matches for under-9s to under-11s

• Creating a positive learning environment where children can learn from mistakes

• Implementing and contributing to a unified game model and training method

• Conducting regular tests to assess players' development

• Encouraging, supporting, and motivating children in their daily training activities

• Boosting enjoyment of sports and personal development for children

• Documenting and tracking the individual development of the players

• A minimum of a C-level football coaching licence is required

• Experience in coaching children and youth, ideally in football or another team sport

• Solid knowledge of learning theories and methods, especially CLA / Ecological Dynamics

• Passion for working with children and actively fostering their development

• Ideally, experience in education

• High resilience and commitment

• Highly conscientious and reliable work manner

• Flexible working hours, including weekends

• Good social skills, strong communication and empathy when dealing with children and parents

• A connection to Borussia Dortmund and enjoyment of team collaboration
