Entry as a Skilled Rail Worker Including Language Course (f/m/d)

If you have completed training in your home country, want to restart your career, and wish to improve your German language skills, we will prepare you for your entry at Deutsche Bahn.

We are looking for you to join us as a Skilled Rail Worker (f/m/d) as soon as possible.

You will receive a B2 language course and the option for qualification as a Track Specialist at DB InfraGO AG in Aulendorf, Crailsheim, or Ulm. After this, you will start as a Skilled Rail Worker and optionally go through our qualification program to become a Track Specialist.

• First, you will complete a B2 language course with an exam

• You will learn the basics of the railway and important technical terms during the qualification phase

• You will maintain tracks and rails

• You will independently carry out inspection, maintenance, and repair work, for example on tracks and sleepers

• You will handle machines and tools in track construction with confidence

• You will always pay attention to the safety of your colleagues

• Regular training is also part of your routine, helping you to continue learning

• You have completed training, for example as a construction worker, steelworker, concrete worker, metal worker, mason, locksmith, mechanic, or welder – or have a degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics

• Your training is already partially recognized in Germany – we will assist you in gaining full recognition

• Experience in railway construction or the construction industry is beneficial but not required

• You are willing to work shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) and enjoy working outdoors

• German at B1 level is preferred. Even with A2, you can apply – we will plan the next steps together

• You already have a German Class B driver's license or are willing to have your license converted

• You are highly motivated to learn both languages and technical skills

• You enjoy physical work and working as part of a team
