Description

  • You support our development team in the maintenance, optimisation, and further development of Oracle databases within a complex enterprise IT environment. 

  • You actively participate in the development of a new database management system for the operation of our Oracle environment. 

  • You automate recurring database processes and develop scripts and solutions to enhance efficiency and optimise processes. 

  • You assist in the integration of Oracle databases into existing systems, gaining insights into modern platform and infrastructure architectures. 

  • You document your work clearly and contribute actively to quality assurance, stability, and the further development of our data processes.

Requirements

  • You are studying Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science or a related field and have completed at least three semesters of your bachelor's degree. 

  • You have basic knowledge of SQL and ideally some experience with Oracle or relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL. 

  • You are interested in automation, database management, and modern IT infrastructures and ideally have initial knowledge of Ansible, Git, REST APIs, or OpenShift

  • You work in an analytical, structured, and meticulous manner, and approach technical issues independently and solution-oriented. 

  • You are team-oriented, eager to learn, and strong in communication, and feel comfortable in an agile development environment

  • You have proficient German language skills (at least C1 level) and good English skills (B2 level).
