Intro
In wastewater disposal, we ensure the transportation of sewage and rainwater from the entire Berlin metropolitan area to treatment plants. We construct, operate, and maintain our sewers, wastewater pressure pipelines, and pumping stations.
Description
What You'll Accomplish With Us
Resolving issues/damages at pumping station facilities and buildings, sewer pressure networks (ADL), wastewater disposal facilities, and stormwater management systems
Damage detection, safeguarding, and initial damage repair within the sewer network and at house connections
Implementing immediate on-site measures and ensuring notification chains
On-site control of pumping stations/groups when remote connections fail, in coordination with the control centre
Carrying out maintenance and functionality checks on the ADL network and associated structures
Operating specialised vehicles and their additional equipment
Requirements
Your Profile
Qualified in wastewater technology with comprehensive knowledge in relevant tasks, completed vocational training in pipe, sewer and industrial service with comprehensive knowledge in relevant tasks, or completed vocational training in industrial mechanics with comprehensive knowledge in relevant tasks
Alternatively: Completed vocational training in mechanical engineering with comprehensive knowledge in relevant tasks, completed vocational training in fine mechanics with comprehensive knowledge in relevant tasks, or completed vocational training in industrial mechanics with comprehensive knowledge in relevant tasks
Excellent understanding of wastewater disposal systems from a static, hydraulic, mechanical engineering, and operational perspective
Knowledge of environmental protection, occupational safety, the Water Resources Act and State Water Act
Familiarity with UBI, SAP
Suitability (G 26.3 breathing apparatus qualification)
Customer contact training
Required: CE class driving licence
Effective, efficient working style, commitment, and reliability
Required driving license

Pay
We offer remuneration according to pay group 7 under the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). Depending on personal prerequisites, classification may also occur in a lower pay group.
A bonus is also provided according to TV-V.
