Kindergarten Assistant

Kita StarKids in Berlin Mariendorf accommodates 140 children, starting from six months old. Our facility is a vibrant place of diversity, where openness, respectful interaction, and unbiased thinking are embraced.

As part of the Federal Voluntary Service (BFD), you will support our educational professionals in the education, guidance, and care of the children, gaining a broad insight into everyday life at the kindergarten.

Your responsibilities will include:

 Assisting in the supervision and development of children
 Participating in play, creative, movement, and music activities
 Accompanying children during meals
 Supporting quiet and nap times
 Helping with simple housekeeping and organisational tasks

During your assignment, you will be supported by our professional and management staff, and you will always have the opportunity to ask questions and develop your skills.

As recognition for your commitment, you will receive the highest possible allowance in the Federal Voluntary Service.
