Entry as Skilled Track Worker including Language Course (m/f/d)

If you have already completed training in your home country, want to relaunch your career, and improve your German language skills, we will prepare you for your entry into Deutsche Bahn together.

We are looking for you to start as a Skilled Track Worker (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

You will receive a B2 language course and the option for qualification as an Infrastructure Specialist at DB InfraGO AG in Dresden. Afterwards, you will start as a Skilled Track Worker and optionally go through our qualification program to become an Infrastructure Specialist.

• You will first complete a B2 language course with an exam

• You will learn the basics of railways and important technical vocabulary during the qualification phase

• You will maintain tracks and rails

• You will independently carry out inspection, maintenance, and repair work, for example on rails and sleepers

• You will handle machinery and tools in track construction safely

• You will always ensure the safety of your colleagues

• Regular further training is also part of your everyday life — keeping you constantly learning

• You have completed training, e.g., as a construction worker, steelworker, concrete worker, metalworker, mason, locksmith, mechanic, or welder — or a degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics

• Your training is partially recognised in Germany — we will assist you with full recognition

• Good, but not essential: experience in track construction or the construction industry

• You are willing to work shifts (including nights, weekends, and public holidays) and enjoy working outdoors

• German at B1 level is good. You can also apply with A2 — we will work together on the next steps

• You already have a German driving licence Class B, or are willing to have your licence converted

• You are highly motivated to learn both linguistically and professionally

• You enjoy physical work and thrive in team settings
