Alteration Tailor (m/f/d)

For over 50 years, Gewandhaus Hugo Gruber has been synonymous with high-quality fashion and excellent service. As an alteration tailor, you will become part of a family-like team at our Erding location.

• Alterations: You will perform professional alterations on women's, men's, and traditional clothing.

• Fit Adjustment: You will shorten or lengthen trousers, skirts, dresses, sleeves, and jackets, and adjust the fit of garments.

• Pinning & Advice: You will provide expert advice to our clients and pin the desired alterations directly on the garment.

• Quality Work: You will carefully and accurately work on high-quality and demanding garments.

• Order Organisation: You will independently organise your alteration orders, ensuring reliable and timely completion.

• Quality Control: You will check the completed alterations, ensuring every garment is neatly finished and fits perfectly.

• Training & Experience: Ideally, you have a qualification as an alteration tailor, custom tailor, or equivalent professional experience.

• Technical Skills: You are proficient in various sewing and alteration techniques and confidently handle sewing machines and different fabrics.

• Meticulous Work Ethic: You work precisely, neatly, and responsibly.

• Customer-Focused: You enjoy personal interaction with clients and have a good sense of fit and individual preferences.

• Independent: You organise your tasks reliably and maintain an overview even with multiple orders.

• Team Player: You enjoy collaborating with our sales departments and contribute to a positive working atmosphere.
