Our internship program for operationally critical technical functions supports you in settling professionally in Germany. You will get to know the working areas of Berliner Wasserbetriebe and apply your professional experience directly in practice. At the same time, we help you integrate professionally, linguistically, and culturally.

This is how the program works

The internship program runs from 01.12.2026 to 31.05.2027. Three days a week, you work at Berliner Wasserbetriebe and get to know our working areas.

In addition, our cooperation partner will support you with offers that facilitate your professional entry into Germany. This way, you can gain practical experience, further develop your German skills, and prepare step by step for an application at Berliner Wasserbetriebe.

• Degree in fields such as Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering

• You already reside in Germany.

• Ideally, you have German language skills at level B2.

• You wish to establish a career in Germany and further develop professionally and linguistically.

Language Training

Improve your German language skills for everyday work and gain more confidence in speaking and writing.

Assistance with Authorities

You will receive support with important applications and appointments, such as recognizing your professional qualifications or necessary translations.

Job Coaching

Prepare your application documents, practice job interviews, and learn about the working methods and corporate culture of Berliner Wasserbetriebe.
