Entry-Level Position as Specialist in Track Construction Including Language Course (m/f/d)

If you already have a qualification from your home country, want to restart your career, and improve your German language skills, we will prepare you for your entry at Deutsche Bahn together.

We are looking for you to join us as a specialist in track construction (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

You will receive a B2 language course and have the option to qualify as a specialist in track superstructure at DB InfraGO AG in Erfurt. After that, you can start as a track construction specialist and optionally go through our training program to become a track superstructure specialist.

• First, you will take a B2 language course with an exam

• You will learn the basics of railway operations and important technical terms during the qualification phase

• You will maintain rails and tracks

• You will independently perform inspection, maintenance, and repair work, such as on rails and sleepers

• You will handle construction machinery and tools safely

• You will always ensure the safety of your colleagues

• Regular further training will also be part of your routine, allowing you to continually learn more

• You have a qualification, such as a specialist worker in civil engineering, structural engineering, concrete construction, metalwork, masonry, locksmithing, mechanical engineering, or welding—or a degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics

• Your qualifications are partially recognised in Germany—we will assist you in gaining full recognition

• Experience in track construction or the construction industry is advantageous but not mandatory

• You are willing to work in shifts (including nights, weekends, and public holidays) and enjoy working outdoors

• German at level B1 is good, but you can also apply with level A2—we will find a way forward together

• You already have a German Class B driving licence, or you are willing to have your licence converted

• You are highly motivated to learn both linguistically and professionally

• You enjoy physical work and are a good team player
