IT System Administrator

To strengthen our team in Hannover (List) we are looking for a committed IT System Administrator (m/f/d) on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will work independently on-site and be a vital part of our globally established IT team with colleagues in Malta, Macedonia, and Canada. You bring a proactive approach, solid technical expertise, and the ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with international remote teams.

Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the installation, configuration, and operation of client systems.
• You ensure the smooth operation of systems, network services, and IT security solutions.
• You handle user administration, including the creation, modification, and deactivation of user accounts and the management of access rights.
• You support our staff with technical queries regarding IT solutions and products.
• You carry out hardware repairs, set up workstations, and configure routers and switches.
• You provide 1st and 2nd level support, analyse and resolve disruptions, and document solutions within the system and infrastructure environment.
• You manage and monitor network environments (WAN/LAN) and multimedia systems.
• You participate in international infrastructure projects and support their successful implementation.

Your Profile

• You have a degree in IT or technology, or possess equivalent qualifications through training and relevant professional experience.
• You bring extensive knowledge and practical experience with Windows client systems, network technologies, fault analysis, as well as hardware and desktop support.
• You have experience with Active Directory and software deployment processes.
• Ideally, you have already provided technical support at trade shows, events, or similar gatherings.
• You are a team player with strong communication skills, excellent German language skills in speech and writing, and English proficiency.
• You are enthusiastic about new technologies and enjoy tackling technical challenges.
