Technician (m/f/d) – Electrical Engineering & Electronics at the Institute for Jet Propulsion

The Institute for Jet Propulsion at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich is a recognised partner of international engine and turbomachinery manufacturers.

We are looking for a Technician with a focus on Electrical Engineering and Electronics, full-time or part-time, initially limited until 30.06.2029.

• You will participate in the electrical setup and commissioning of an altitude test stand for small engines.

• Independently manage the electrical equipment of the engine and component testing facility, including maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Install, wire, and test measurement technology – covering pressure, temperature, and vibration.

• Support the team in setup and troubleshooting of control and safety technology.

• Create and maintain electrical engineering documentation, for example using EPLAN.

• Assist scientific staff in the instrumentation and modification of test carriers.

• Completed technical training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a similar field.

• At least two years of experience in installation, wiring, and commissioning of electrical systems.

• Interest in aviation and propulsion technology.

• Enjoy tackling electrical tasks in experimental test setups.

• Initiative, creativity, and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of relevant electrical engineering regulations and standards (e.g., DIN VDE 0100/0113).
