For a medium-sized company based in Chemnitz, we are looking for a 

IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring stable IT operations for all business areas
  
• First-level support for colleagues (phone, ticket system, on-site)
  
• Support and setup of Windows clients (hardware, operating system, software)
  
• Setup, management, and development of workstations and mobile devices
  
• Introduction, management, and optimisation of internal software solutions
  
• Close cooperation with departments to improve workflows
  
• Maintenance and documentation of software, systems, and IT inventory
  
• Performing data backups
  
• Installation, testing, and monitoring of updates, especially on clients
  
• Supporting the forklift service with IT-related applications
  
• Conducting hardware tests and assisting in hardware procurement
  
• Actively participating in the development of IT security standards
  

YOUR PROFILE:

• IT affinity and technical understanding, especially in the Windows environment
  
• Experience or basic knowledge in IT support or system operations
  
• Interest in software, hardware, and IT security issues
  
• Understanding of processes and procedures in technical and commercial contexts
  
• Structured, reliable, and independent working style
  
• Willingness to continuously learn new systems and technologies
  
• Good communication skills and team spirit
  
• Training, studies, or comparable experience in the IT field beneficial but not essential
