Entry-Level Specialist in Track Construction with Language Course (m/f/d)

If you already have a qualification from your home country, wish to restart your career, and want to improve your German language skills, we will prepare you for your start at Deutsche Bahn together.

We are looking for you to join us as soon as possible as an Entry-Level Specialist in Track Construction (m/f/d).

You will receive a B2 language course and the option for qualification as a Specialist in Track Construction with DB InfraGO AG in Munich. Afterwards, you will start as a Specialist in Track Construction and optionally participate in our qualification programme for a Specialist in Track Superstructure.

• First, you will attend a B2 level language course with an exam.

• In the qualification phase, you will learn the basics of railways and important technical vocabulary.

• You will maintain rails and tracks.

• You will independently perform inspection, maintenance, and repair work, such as on rails and sleepers.

• You will confidently handle machines and tools in track construction.

• You will always ensure the safety of your colleagues.

• Regular training is also part of your daily routine, allowing you to continuously learn.

• You have a qualification, e.g., as a construction worker, steelworker, concrete worker, metalworker, bricklayer, locksmith, mechanic, or welder, or have a degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics.

• Your qualification is partly recognized in Germany – we will assist you with full recognition.

• Experience in track construction or the construction industry is beneficial but not essential.

• You are willing to work shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) and enjoy working outdoors.

• German at B1 level is good, but you can apply with A2 – we will find a way forward together.

• You already have a German Class B driving license, or you are willing to get yours converted.

• You are highly motivated to learn both linguistically and professionally.

• You enjoy physical work and love working in a team.
