The Stรคdtische Musikschule Braunschweig is part of the Department of Culture and Science of the city administration. It offers professional music lessons in many instruments and subjects for children, teenagers, and adults.

For the cello department, we are looking for you as a music school teacher, part-time with 10 weekly hours of 50 minutes each.

Description

  • Teach cello (individual and group lessons for all age groups), with a focus on preparing for symphony orchestra play

  • Prepare individual students for competitions or music studies

  • Participate in ensemble and orchestra work as well as chamber music projects

  • Take part and contribute to music school events

Requirements

  • Completed music studies in cello (Diploma, Master's, Bachelor's or equivalent qualification)

  • Teaching experience with children, teenagers and adults

  • Willingness to contribute to music school events

  • Openness to various music genres
