: Logistics Associate (m/f/d)

Strengthen our team as a Logistics Associate, supporting critical logistical operations and facilitating humanitarian efforts in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

🚛 Your Responsibilities 🚛

• Assist in planning and executing logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery according to organizational requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking deliveries and outgoing stock
• Support in preparing logistics-related documents, such as procurement requests, delivery reports, and customs clearance forms
• Monitor and evaluate service providers’ performance to ensure compliance with agreements and quality standards
• Manage fleet logistics, including vehicle maintenance, repair coordination, and daily checks for vehicle roadworthiness
• Maintain records of vehicle usage, spare parts inventory, and prepare reports on mileage and fuel consumption
• Keep a high level of confidentiality in all logistics-related matters and ensure the security of IOM personnel and property along transport routes
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

👷‍♀️ Your Profile 👷‍♂️

• 3 years of experience in logistics or related fields; previous experience with international organizations is an advantage
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and ability to work well within a team
• High level of computer proficiency, particularly in MS Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, or high school diploma with 4 years of relevant experience
• Valid Class B driving license required
• Fluent in English; working knowledge of German is desirable
