We, at the treatment plants, ensure the annual, professional cleaning of over 250 million cubic metres of wastewater for Berlin and its surrounding areas. Together with our industrial and commercial colleagues, we ensure the cleanliness of wastewater.

Description

Your Impact with Us

  • Driving duties (e.g., suction trucks, Unimog with crane, tractor, and Multicar), operation of various vehicle technologies, and vehicle maintenance

  • Preparation and follow-up of assignments

  • Ensuring smooth operations of the supply and disposal services of the main clarification plant and associated facilities. This includes:

    • Supply and disposal activities for the entire treatment plant

    • Internal traffic safety on the premises to ensure occupational safety

    • Maintenance and repair tasks on buildings, silos, and basins

    • Internal transport (e.g., machine parts, devices, and operating materials)

    • Loading and unloading activities for pallets and machinery

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Qualified professional in wastewater technology with comprehensive knowledge of relevant tasks

  • Alternatively: Completed technical vocational training (e.g., industrial mechanic for pipe technology, pipe-canal-industrial services technician, professional driver, plant technician) with comprehensive knowledge of relevant tasks

  • Required: CE driving licence

  • Knowledge of vehicle technology for operational tasks at wastewater treatment facilities

  • Forklift licence training

  • Crane operation training

  • Knowledge of environmental protection and occupational safety

  • Strong teamwork skills, reliability, and independence

  • Willingness to work across different areas and physical resilience

Required driving license

  • Truck (C, CE, C1, C1E)

What We Offer

Compensation

We offer a remuneration within pay group 6 according to the Collective Agreement for Utilities (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification may also occur in a lower pay group.

Additionally, a TV-V allowance is paid.
