Borussia Dortmund is a renowned football club and a large company with over 900 employees. We are seeking a Deputy Store Manager for the BVB FanShop Centro in Oberhausen, for a full-time position of 40 hours per week.

Description

  • Working with the cash and merchandise system

  • Handling cash transactions and processing payments

  • Planning and ordering merchandise

  • Ensuring the shop is well-stocked with products

  • Maintaining the presentation of the sales area and merchandise

  • Staff scheduling and coordination within the shop

  • Reviewing and improving sales figures

  • Developing ideas to increase sales

  • Organising sales promotions

  • Handling office tasks, such as exchanging defective items

Requirements

  • Completed training in retail or a similar qualification

  • Experience in retail

  • Initial leadership experience is an advantage

  • Enjoy interacting with customers and working in a team

  • Friendly and genuine demeanour

  • Strong service and customer focus

  • Empathy and assertiveness

  • Flexible, independent, and well-organised working style
