Electrical Fitter (m/w/d)

MAUSER Maschinentechnik GmbH, a subsidiary of Mauser Packaging Solutions, is a leading manufacturer of blow moulding machines and automation lines. The equipment is designed and built at the Brühl site. The machines and complete production lines are sold and serviced worldwide.

The tasks and challenges for MAUSER are growing. Therefore, we seek support for our machine technology at our Brühl location near Cologne.

Main Responsibilities

• Assembly and wiring of systems and controls according to circuit diagrams, part lists, and technical drawings

• Coordinating cable routing and wiring with the design department

• Electrical and control engineering commissioning, including network integration at the location and at the customer's premises

• Installation and setup of equipment at the customer's site

• Technical instruction of customer personnel in operation, maintenance, and safety

• Troubleshooting, repair, upgrades, and modifications of existing machines worldwide — including creating change documentation

• Support during customer acceptance as well as packaging and dispatch preparation of products

• Communication and close coordination with internal interfaces and departments

  Specialist Activities in Commissioning

• Performing I/O checks

• Commissioning and documentation of safety circuits

• Commissioning and documentation of drive technology (DC, servo, and controlled AC motors) as well as heating control

• Recommissioning systems at the customer's site

• Conducting test and acceptance runs

• Initial and repeat testing of electrical systems according to DIN VDE 0100-600

  Additional Tasks

• Training and, if necessary, supervising external workers in your area of responsibility

• Participating in the training of junior staff

• Completed training as an Electronics Technician (m/w/d) for Industrial Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification

• Knowledge in electrical assembly, wiring, and commissioning of control cabinets and drive technology in plant engineering

• Basic knowledge in PLC control systems (Siemens S7/TIA Portal), measurement and control technology, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics

• Proficient in MS Office with good German and English language skills

• Ideally experience in plastics processing (extrusion blow moulding) and training of operating personnel

• Independent, solution-oriented, and structured work style with strong customer orientation

• Willingness to travel worldwide (up to 40%) as well as team and learning skills
