At our location in Landau in der Pfalz, we accompany children and young people up to the age of 21 in their daily lives – whether at home, in kindergarten, or school. Individual support, guidance, and assistance are always the focus.
For the 1:1 support of a child, we are looking for a loving, reliable, and dedicated Integration Specialist for School Support (m/f/d) with experience in Autism in Ludwigshafen am Rhein | Mon-Fri.
Your tasks
- In school support, you ensure that our children can attend school despite limitations
- You support the social and educational integration into the class
- You provide guidance on the school premises, in the school building, or in the classroom
- Assistance in structuring the school day and managing transition situations
- You observe the child's well-being and offer emotional support
- You ensure the child feels safe, understood, and comfortable
- You are part of a professional network for the child's well-being
- Our children love variety and enjoy going to school. You ensure everything runs smoothly
What we are looking for
- You have professional experience working with children and young people
- Ideally, experience in supporting children or young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Driving licence class B
- You are empathetic, committed, and creative in caring for and supporting young patients
- Good communication skills and team spirit
- You have an open ear for parents, teachers, educators, and maintain high quality standards
- You have your heart in the right place and support your children with humour, empathy, and understanding
