IT System Administrator

To strengthen our team in the ICT Infrastructure area, we are looking for you at our headquarters in Thalfang as an IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

You will support us with:

• Supporting teams with client and server projects, system backups, and recovery processes
• Responsibility for IT security facilities, time and access systems, peripheral devices, and mobile devices
• Assisting the infrastructure team with operating a highly available and fully virtualised server and storage environment based on standard virtualisation environments
• Ensuring service levels are maintained and taking responsibility for the availability of IT infrastructures
• Tackling tasks in first and second-level support as well as participating in an on-call rotation that is remunerated separately

• Successfully completed specific IT training; career changers with relevant knowledge are very welcome
• Ideally, professional experience with standard server and client operating systems in the Citrix and Microsoft environments, VMware and M365 environments
• Solid knowledge in networking, IT security solutions across distributed server and client environments over multiple locations, including software distribution and device management systems
• High resilience and an analytical, structured working style, along with a willingness to adapt to the dynamic developments in IT
• Good knowledge of English and initial project management skills, combined with strong communication ability
