The German Red Cross is one of the largest humanitarian organisations in the world, committed to supporting people from diverse backgrounds for over 150 years.

In the RealTalk project, you support young people with digital offerings on important topics and help build a strong and active community on TikTok. If you find social media exciting and would like to gain practical experience in a meaningful environment, this position offers you the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and develop new formats together with a committed team.

Description

  • You will support the development of the TikTok account RealTalk.

  • You will leverage current trends for new content ideas.

  • You will independently create and publish posts.

  • You will actively engage with the community.

  • You will prepare and participate in TikTok live events.

  • You will co-plan co-creation shoots with young people.

  • You will collaborate with influencers, peers, and school and youth social workers.

  • You will assist the team with presentations and evaluations.

Requirements

  • You are studying in a relevant discipline, such as Marketing, Public Relations, Social or Political Sciences.

  • You have an interest in social media, especially TikTok or Instagram.

  • You have some initial experience with social media.

  • You enjoy working with young people.

  • You like planning events or have some experience in this area.

  • You work in an organised and reliable manner in your daily routine.

  • You enjoy working in a team.

  • You are interested in topics such as mental health, youth participation, or online counselling.

  • You can provide support in the evenings and occasionally on weekends.
