Alterations Tailor (m/f/d)

For over 50 years, Gewandhaus Hugo Gruber has stood for high-quality fashion and excellent service. As an alteration tailor, you will become part of a family-oriented team at our Erding location.

• Alterations: You will perform professional alterations on women's, men's, and traditional clothing.

• Fit Adjustments: You will shorten or lengthen trousers, skirts, dresses, sleeves, and jackets, and adjust garments for width.

• Pinning & Consultation: You will provide expert advice to our customers and pin the desired alterations directly on the garment.

• Quality Work: You will carefully and precisely handle high-quality and demanding clothing items.

• Order Organisation: You will independently manage your alteration orders and ensure reliable and timely completion.

• Quality Control: You will review completed alterations to ensure that every garment is finished neatly and fits perfectly.

• Training & Experience: Ideally, you have completed training as an alteration tailor, bespoke tailor, or have relevant professional experience.

• Craftsmanship: You are skilled in various sewing and alteration techniques and proficient with sewing machines and different fabrics.

• Meticulous Work Ethic: You work accurately, neatly, and responsibly.

• Customer-Oriented: You enjoy personal interaction with customers and have a good sense of fit and individual preferences.

• Independent: You organise your tasks reliably and maintain oversight even with multiple orders.

• Team Player: You enjoy collaborating with our sales departments and contribute to a positive working atmosphere.
