In our accredited laboratory, we examine 63,000 water samples annually from waterworks, sewage plants, and the pipe network, process the data, and thus ensure the highest quality of water.
Description
What You'll Do With Us
Conduct sampling at the wastewater treatment plants of Berlin Water Works in both accredited (including DIN 38402-A 11, DIN EN ISO 5667) and non-accredited areas, as well as at process water treatment facilities and flowing waters
Perform on-site analyses and check online probes to determine the fundamental operating parameters of the wastewater treatment plants for process support
Create comprehensive documentation of the sampling according to DIN/accreditation
Operate, maintain, service, commission, and parameterize mobile measuring devices (e.g. pH, conductivity)
Conduct separator checks and their maintenance
Perform sample transport as well as route and work planning
Requirements
Your Qualifications
Qualification as a wastewater technology specialist
Alternatively: Qualification as a laboratory technician, supply and disposal operator, or pipeline, sewage, and industrial service specialist with comprehensive knowledge of wastewater technology
Experience in laboratory activities and analytics
Knowledge of DIN standards for wastewater sampling and sample preservation
Experience in conducting (wastewater) sampling
Class B driving licence
Teamwork, organisational skills, communication skills, and a friendly demeanour
Required driving license
- Car (B, BF17, BE)

Compensation
We offer remuneration in pay group 6 according to the Utilities Collective Agreement (TV-V). Depending on the personal qualifications, classification may also occur in a lower pay group.
