Client Details

We are currently seeking a Platform Engineer (m/f/d) for a software company in Leipzig, on a direct placement basis, focusing on public transport. You will collaborate with your team on the continuous development of the internal data platform.

Job Description

• Developing and operating the internal data platform within an experienced, interdisciplinary team
• Developing new features and tools for the data platform
• Implementing tools for the deployment and management of the platform
• Assisting in the documentation of architectures, processes, best practices, and blueprints
• Actively sharing your knowledge within the team and with users

Profile

• Several years of professional experience in software architecture, cloud engineering, data engineering, or platform engineering
• A degree in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification
• Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and topics
• A strong agile mindset
• Knowledge of event-based software architectures, especially practical experience with Kafka or similar systems
• Understanding of programming paradigms and software architectures, ideally with experience in Java, TypeScript, or C++
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with scripting languages
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
