Intro
Are you a student looking for a mandatory internship where you can truly experience the Bundesliga? Support the organisation team at the BVB Football Academy. The academy nurtures children aged 4 to 13 with numerous football and sports programmes at the training centre at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK.
The internship lasts six months full-time (40 hours per week) starting on 1 April 2027.
Description
• Support daily operations as well as prepare, conduct, and follow up on events and courses
• Assist with scheduling and resource planning, coach management, and data maintenance in the "Football School Connect" programme
• Organise course materials and merchandising: assess needs, check stocks, and prepare orders
• Assist with fleet coordination
• Liaise with internal and external contacts and create planning documents and overviews
• Conduct research and market analyses to improve internal processes
Requirements
• Studying in the field of Sports Management, Sports Economics, Event or Venue Management, Business Administration, Sports Sciences, or a comparable qualification
• Valid enrolment certificate for the compulsory internship
• Independent and structured working style with careful handling of data, schedules, and documents
• Organisational talent and ability to keep track of multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good communication skills, both spoken and written
• Proficient with digital tools and willing to familiarise with internal systems
• Flexibility, reliability, and enjoyment in actively participating in events and courses
