Sales Clerk / Career Changer for Fresh Produce Counter (m/w/d)

EDEKA Haag is a medium-sized, family-run business. Since 2016, EDEKA Haag has been in Weilerbach, and since February 2024, also in Landstuhl. With around 1400 sqm of sales area in Weilerbach, the store presents itself brightly with a modern store design and high customer friendliness. After an 8-week renovation, the store in Landstuhl was opened in November 2024, offering our customers around 2000 sqm of sales space.

At our stores, not only the products are in focus but also the people. Therefore, it is particularly important to us that our staff are well-qualified. We regularly offer seminars and training sessions as well as on-the-job training. We place great importance on a family atmosphere and open, constructive communication to ensure a positive team climate is always maintained.

For our stores in Weilerbach and Landstuhl, we are looking for you in full-time/part-time as a Sales Clerk / Career Changer for Fresh Produce Counter (m/w/d)

• Customer Service: You conduct consultations and use your expertise to encourage customer purchasing. 

• Quality Inspection: Whether it's sausage, meat, cheese, or fish, your trained eye always ensures quality and freshness.

• Counter Design: You are responsible for sales-promoting product presentation and design the fresh produce counter accordingly.

• Orders: You always keep an eye on the fresh produce counter and have a sense for the right stock levels.

• Training: Ideally, you have training as a sales specialist, butcher, cook, or similar.

• Career Changers: Career changers are also welcome and will be well-trained by us.

• Knowledge: Ideally, you have experience in the fresh produce counter (meat, sausage, cheese, fish, or bakery).

• Customer-Oriented Appearance: You enjoy interacting with people and have a passion for fresh food.
