Do you want to expand your IT skills and enter the German job market? Skill IT Up from Kiron is a free online programme for people with a migration or refugee background who already have some IT experience and wish to further develop their skills.
Description
Participation in a 6-month online programme focusing on IT Operations & AI Support
Refreshing and expanding basic IT knowledge
Working with Windows, Linux, and Microsoft 365
Learning about cybersecurity, networking, data protection, and GDPR
Using AI tools for IT support and troubleshooting
Building knowledge on cloud basics, infrastructure, and user management
Creating a CV, LinkedIn profile, and GitHub portfolio
Participating in interview training, job clinics, and career events
Exchanging ideas with other participants in small study groups
Requirements
Migration or refugee background
Residence in Germany
German language skills at least at B2 level
Initial experience in IT through study, courses, professional experience, or self-study
Interest in IT support, cloud technologies, and AI applications
Willingness to dedicate 5 to 10 hours per week to the programme
Motivation to enter the German IT job market
