Garden Helper (m/f/d)

At Charité CFM Facility Management GmbH, you'll work in the outdoor facilities area and help keep the campus clean and well-maintained. The position as a Garden Helper is permanent, available immediately, and involves 39 hours per week in shifts.

CFM is a subsidiary of Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and provides non-medical services for one of the largest university hospitals in Europe.

• Perform planting and maintenance work

• Trim and care for shrubs, hedges, and simple trees

• Mow and maintain lawns

• Utilise appropriate machines and equipment for the work

• Clean grey areas using street sweepers

• Operate vehicles and load/unload as needed

• Drive vehicles with trailers

• Empty waste containers and collect rubbish on campus

• Operate, maintain, and clean gardening machines and specialised equipment

• Maintain a machinery logbook

• Perform small repairs and maintain vehicles

• Work in winter services

• A completed vocational training is an advantage

• Experience in green space maintenance and winter services is beneficial

• Driving licence category BE is required

• Physically able to work hard

• Work carefully and accurately

• Work well in a team

• Able to handle criticism well

• Possess technical and manual skills

• Good German skills in speaking and writing

• Work independently and autonomously

• Be friendly with patients and clients

• Proof of measles immunity or measles vaccination is required before starting work if born after 1970
