Garden Assistant (m/w/d)

At Charité CFM Facility Management GmbH, you will work in the outdoor facilities sector, helping to keep the campus clean and tidy. The position as a Garden Assistant is permanent, available immediately, and involves working 39 hours per week in shifts.

CFM is a subsidiary of Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin, providing non-medical services for one of Europe's largest university hospitals.

• Carry out planting and maintenance tasks

• Trim and care for shrubs, hedges, and simple trees

• Mow and maintain lawns

• Utilise appropriate machinery and equipment for the work

• Clean hard surfaces using street sweeping machines

• Drive vehicles and load/unload as needed

• Operate vehicles with trailers

• Empty waste containers and collect waste on the campus

• Operate, maintain, and clean horticultural machinery and special equipment

• Maintain a machine logbook

• Perform minor repairs and care for vehicles

• Work in winter services

• A completed professional training is advantageous

• Experience in green space maintenance and winter services is an advantage

• Driving licence class BE is essential

• Able to perform physically demanding work

• Work with care and precision

• Work well in a team

• Able to handle criticism well

• Possess technical and manual skills

• Good German language skills in written and spoken form

• Work independently and autonomously

• Interact kindly with patients and customers

• Proof of measles immunity or measles vaccination is required before commencing work if born after 1970
