Part-time Regional Scouting Assistant U7-U12 in the Football District of Essen

Borussia Dortmund is a globally recognised football club and a company with over 900 employees. We are seeking support for regional scouting in the football district of Essen as a part-time assistant for our youth academy.

• Identify, evaluate, and monitor talents in the U7 to U12 age groups in the Essen area

• Observe and assess games and tournaments in the football district of Essen

• Observe games in neighbouring football districts when required

• Write scouting reports and provide key information to the head of youth scouting

• Develop and maintain contacts with clubs, coaches, and key individuals in youth football

• Regularly participate in scouting meetings, either online or on-site

• Take on tasks in video scouting when necessary

• Experience in youth football and talent development

• Excellent knowledge of the football region and U7 to U12 age groups

• High level of commitment and flexibility

• Willingness to work weekends and evenings

• Sense of responsibility and reliability

• Grounded and genuine demeanour

• Enjoy working in a team

• Strong enthusiasm for football

• Experience with the structures of a youth performance centre

• Identification with Borussia Dortmund and the club’s values

• Driver’s licence, Class B

• Residence preferably in Essen or very close to the city limits
