Software Engineer UI/UX Design (m/f/d)

you will be significantly involved in the design and optimisation of heating and cooling systems.

What to expect:

  • Concept & UX Design: Develop modern, user-friendly HMIs for 7-10 inch touch panels. This includes creating style guides, icon sets, and a consistent design system to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Customer Requirements: Review and analyse our customers' requirements for embedded control to ensure feasibility.
  • Deriving Technical Requirements: Derive the technical requirements for the embedded control system and assist in creating the specification document.
  • Interface Implementation: Implement user interfaces in Qt/QML or Flutter on embedded Linux platforms - from prototype development to series maturity.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Set up automated UI/widget tests, conduct usability reviews, and optimise performance to ensure the quality of our software.

Your Profile:

  • Completed education/training or studies in computer science, electrical engineering, measurement and control technology, or mechatronics.
  • Professional experience in software development, particularly for HMI.
  • Experience with common programming languages and embedded control/development environments for HMI (control units).
  • Experience with microcontroller architectures and tools.
  • Understanding of agile working methods and/or model-based software development.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and successfully manage challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent German and English in verbal and written form.
