Food Technician (m/f/d)

EDEKA Südwest Fleisch GmbH – The forward-looking production facility for meat and sausage products is a subsidiary of EDEKA Südwest Stiftung & Co. KG – one of the most successful companies in the German food trade. At our Blumberg site, we employ around 300 people. We are looking for you – passionate individuals. Our core competencies lie in the production of cured ham and dry sausage under the Schwarzwaldhof brand. Our Schwarzwaldhof specialities are distributed regionally and nationally within the EDEKA network.

For our location in Blumberg, we are seeking a Food Technician (m/f/d).

• Commissioning, refitting, monitoring and controlling production and packaging machines

• Resolving minor disruptions and analysing faults to rectify recurring issues

• Provision of raw materials, auxiliaries, and operating materials for production

• Monitoring work processes for quality and efficiency

• Conducting and overseeing equipment cleaning

• Co-responsibility for compliance with food law regulations and hygiene standards and requirements

• First point of contact for employees within the area of responsibility

• Completed vocational training as a Food Technician (m/f/d) or relevant professional experience

• Career changers with an affinity for the food industry

• Initial experience in the food industry and ideally some leadership experience

• Strong assertiveness and communication skills

• Independent and team-oriented working style

• Willingness to work in a two-shift system
