Engineer for Civil Engineering Structures (m/w/d)

The Autobahn GmbH des Bundes ensures that Germany remains mobile. Thousands of bridges, hundreds of tunnels, and many ancillary facilities regularly need to be inspected, maintained, and renewed.

For our structural maintenance team at the Hannover branch, we are looking for you as a Civil Engineer as soon as possible. The position is permanent.

• You oversee new construction and renovation projects and lead projects by inspecting the work on-site

• You are the contact person for construction companies on-site, engineering offices, authorities, and internal departments

• You organise traffic regulations, coordinate services from third parties, and manage additional work for extra or modified services

• You prepare the measurements according to VOB to ensure construction services can be billed upon completion

• You apply the DAfStb guidelines for damage repair and maintenance in civil engineering, such as on bearing foundations and concrete surfaces

• You monitor schedules and costs with MaViS

• You create specifications with construction descriptions and support contract management with SAP and iTWO

• Completed university degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering, or comparable knowledge and experience

• Class B driving licence and a willingness to travel for business

• Desired: professional experience in structural engineering and knowledge of technical regulations and guidelines (e.g. HOAI, VOL, M-BÜ-ING)

• Desired: Experience with MS Office and the tendering and billing system iTWO
