Employee at DRK Civil Protection Hub with Focus on Motor Vehicles (m/f/d)

The German Red Cross has been supporting people in need for over 150 years. At the DRK-HQ in Berlin, you will help ensure that people in Germany and around the world receive assistance. Support is needed at the DRK Civil Protection Hub in Luckenwalde in the areas of vehicles, generators, technology, and materials.

• Maintenance and servicing of technical equipment, especially vehicles and generators

• Conducting repairs as well as maintenance and servicing work

• Planning and assistance in the technical inspection of motor vehicles

• Support for the fleet management

• Assistance to the volunteer support group

• Proper storage of materials according to the applicable regulations

• Monitoring of maintenance schedules

• A completed vocational training in a trade, preferably in electrical engineering

• Driving licence classes B/C1

• CE licence is desirable or willingness to obtain it

• Willingness to obtain a forklift driving licence

• Willingness to work on weekends and off-peak hours

• Basic knowledge of English

• Valid air security training according to DVO EU 2018/1998 and reliability check according to §7 LuftSiG or willingness to obtain them
