Harold Scholz & Co. GmbH is a medium-sized, family-owned company. Since our founding in 1902, we have been involved in the import and export, trade, and production of colour pigments and pigment preparations, particularly for the construction and paint industries. For over 100 years, we have been the largest trading partner for the inorganic pigment business (iron oxides and chromium oxides) of Lanxess AG. With over 200 employees, our production and trading activities are conducted at our sites in Recklinghausen and Partenstein.

Your Future Responsibilities

• Quality testing and colorimetric analysis of pigment preparations, including shift work

• Electronic recording and processing of data such as test results, work protocols, etc.

• Production of customer samples

• Preparation of acceptance test certificates

• Handling of complaints

• Testing of substitute raw materials

• Contribution to customer projects

Your Profile

• Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician, construction materials tester, paint laboratory technician, or similar qualification

• Ideally, experience in pigments, pigment preparations, and their applications

• Preferably experience in colorimetry

• Proficient in the use of IT applications, MS Office etc.

• Accurate and structured work approach, good comprehension skills, and analytical thinking

• High sense of responsibility and quality awareness, solution-oriented behaviour

• Enjoy working with colours in a creative and motivated team
