Network Inspector for Inspections and House Connections with Appointment as Foreperson (m/f/d)

In wastewater disposal, we ensure the discharge of sewage and rainwater from the entire Berlin city area to the treatment plants. We build, operate, and maintain our sewers, wastewater pressure pipes, and pumping stations.

What You Will Move With Us

Inspection, documentation, and leak testing of public drainage systems and leak testing of residential connections on-site. This includes:

• Inspection of sewers, shafts, and house connections using camera technology (panoramo, analogue, and SAT technology)

• Identification of damage as part of condition assessment

• Conducting physical leak tests

• Documentation of the core data identified, with special system knowledge regarding culverts and storage sewers

• Initiating water level checks in shafts

• Preparation and follow-up of inspections and recording public drainage systems and leak testing of residential connections

What You Bring

• Qualified professional in pipe, sewer, and industrial services with solid knowledge in relevant tasks or supply and disposal specialist with solid knowledge in relevant tasks

• Alternatively: Completed technical training as an industrial mechanic or wastewater technician with solid knowledge in relevant tasks or technical professions with a cross-entry training programme for pipe, sewer, and industrial services

• Sewer inspection course and leak testing course

• Proficient user skills in relevant software (e.g., inspection software, UBI)

• Extensive knowledge and application of inspection and/or leak testing techniques

• Knowledge of public drainage network facilities from an operational perspective

• Familiarity with regulations, legal requirements, and occupational safety

• Required: Valid driving licence class B and CE

• Teamwork skills, reliability, and resilience

Compensation

We offer you compensation in pay grade 7 according to the tariff agreement for supply companies (TV-V). Depending on personal prerequisites, classification may also occur in a lower pay grade. Additionally, a TV-V allowance is paid.
