Intro
You work as a gardener or forester in tree care, undertaking maintenance tasks, securing cuts, and felling trees in historic parks and street tree stocks.
Description
Tree maintenance using aerial work platforms up to 35 metres high
Crown pruning, crown reduction and crown securing cuts on old trees in historic parks
Crown maintenance, formative pruning, and structural pruning of street trees
Tree felling, sometimes under challenging conditions
Working with abseiling techniques, winches, and mobile cranes
Setting up and securing construction sites according to RSA 21 and ASR A 5.2
Participating in winter service and on-call duties
Requirements
Completed training as a gardener in landscape gardening
Or completed training as a gardener in another specialisation
Or completed training as a forester
Category C driving licence
Chainsaw certification AS-Tree I and AS-Tree II
Unrestricted physical fitness, especially for working at heights
High level of commitment
Teamwork skills
Required driving license
