Join our team as a Strategic Buyer Electrical Equipment (f/m/d) at 50Hertz Transmission GmbH and take on strategic procurement tasks for the core electrical equipment of Elia’s and 50Hertz’s grid, in line with Elia Group objectives and business plans.

💼 Your Tasks 💼
• Collaborate closely with the technical and asset management departments of the Elia Group to identify long-term requirements
• Analyze the market and potential suppliers worldwide, always keeping an eye on current developments and anticipating the needs of the Elia Group
• Develop a medium- to long-term procurement plan for strategic electrical equipment based on market analysis
• Define and implement strategies in coordination with internal stakeholders
• Actively participate in the implementation of the Group's sustainability policies
• Organize the EU procurement procedure from A (definition of selection and awarding criteria) to Z (negotiation and awarding of the contract)
• Based on your experience in EU procurement procedures, participate in optimizing internal processes, methods, and tools in procurement
• Depending on your experience, take responsibility for a complete family of assets with a global scope
• Actively manage supplier relationships, including risk management, evaluation, development, and execution of audits
• Contribute to building synergies and best practices for both entities, Elia and 50Hertz

👩‍💻 Your Profile 👨‍💻
• Master’s degree in technical or engineering studies, or an economics background with strong technical focus through relevant internships or professional experience
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, take initiative, and think in a problem-solving manner
• Analytical and result-driven mindset
• Bilingual: German and English (both levels B2 to C1)
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to travel a few times a year to Brussels

Not required, but advantageous:
• Experience in a technical context, procurement, or project management
• Knowledge of SAP or Ariba
• Knowledge of French and/or Dutch
