At multiple locations in the USA, India, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and Germany, we develop state-of-the-art cloud-based application software in the field of Terminal Operating Systems, Yard Management, Shipment Tracking, Asset Management, Sea Transport, and Ship Operations. Located in Flensburg, in the northern part of Germany, we have been responsible for the product areas of loading computers and stowage planning systems, which play a crucial role in global maritime transport. We count the largest liner shipping companies and ship managers among our customers. Additionally, in recent years, we have expanded our product range to help our customers reduce the emissions of their vessels and comply with legal requirements. With us, you can plan a workcation twice a year for a maximum of four weeks. You just need to bring your laptop and ensure internet connectivity. Company parties, BBQs, and our famous kale tour should not go unmentioned. What to expect in your role as a Software Engineer? You are part of the product teams for loading computers and stowage planning solutions and are actively involved in the enhancement and maintenance of our software. A penchant for logistics or mathematics is an advantage, as this constitutes a significant part of your work. Furthermore, user interfaces also need to be designed and implemented. In an agile development process, you collaborate with product managers, testers, designers, and other developers to gather requirements, develop, and support quality assurance. What do you ideally bring with you? Due to the nature of the position, two different sets of requirements are applicable. If you come from a software background, you should meet the following requirements: Bachelor, Master, or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar qualifications. Experience in development with C# and .NET. Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns. Writing unit tests. Use of Visual Studio, Git, and Jira.
