What to Expect in Practice

During your practical days, you will work in an area that matches your qualifications, experience, and interests.

Possible tasks include:

• Operation and monitoring of equipment

• Maintenance and repair

• Technical field service/network operation

• Logistical activities

At the start, you will get to know Berliner Wasserbetriebe at a welcome event and receive all the important information for your entry.

Throughout the programme, a dedicated contact person will support you in your daily work and assist with any questions you might have.

What You Bring

• Technical or manual training, e.g., in electrical engineering, metalworking, environmental engineering, or logistics

• You already reside in Germany.

• Ideally, you have German language skills at B2 level.

• A Class B driving licence is advantageous but not a requirement.

• You are willing to work shifts in some operational areas.

• You want to establish your career in Germany and continue developing professionally and linguistically.
