Borussia Dortmund is a globally renowned football club and a major company with over 900 employees. For our youth development centre, we are looking for a working student as a trainer in the fundamental area to nurture children from U9 to U11 both athletically and personally.
Description
Planning, organising, and conducting training sessions and matches for age groups U9 to U11
Creating a positive error culture and a supportive learning environment in line with the youth development centre's training philosophy
Implementing and co-developing a shared playing model and unified training method
Conducting regular tests and assessments to monitor player development
Supporting, encouraging, and motivating children in training to ensure they enjoy sport and develop personally
Documenting and tracking individual player development
Requirements
Current studies in sports science, sports education or a comparable qualification
Ideally holding a Football C License
Experience in children's and youth training, ideally in football or another team sport
Strong knowledge of learning theories and methods, especially CLA / Ecological Dynamics
Passion for working with children and actively supporting their development, ideally with experience in the educational field
High resilience and strong commitment
Very conscientious and reliable working style, with flexibility to work weekends
Strong social skills, communication ability, and empathy, particularly in dealing with children and parents
Connection to Borussia Dortmund and enjoyment of teamwork
