50Hertz is driving the grid expansion for the energy transition. In your role, you will create new transport capacity for offshore electricity generated in the North Sea.
💻 Your tasks 💻
• Proactive management and comprehensive coordination of the 2 GW DC platform project through all project phases, from initial planning to final commissioning,
• Dedicated assumption of responsibility for adherence to schedules, budget, quality standards and HSE guidelines, including the strategic alignment of all sub-areas and roles for the successful implementation of the DC platform,
• Ensure efficient communication and smooth interface management between the different parts of the DC platform to maximise synergies and minimise risks,
• Responsibility for carrying out all key tendering procedures, in close coordination with the purchasing department, and ensuring that the requirements of all internal stakeholders are met,
• Continuous monitoring of construction and installation processes, strict adherence to quality standards and consistent implementation of HSE guidelines, especially during critical construction phases, to ensure the highest safety and performance standards.
• Participation in internal and external working groups and committees,
• Participation in the development and updating of technical guidelines of 50Hertz and the Elia Group,
• Participation in the standardisation process of 50Hertz.
👩💻 Your profile👨💻
• Completed studies (Master / Diploma) in the field of engineering or comparable,
• Approximately ten years of professional experience, including five years in the planning and realisation of HV offshore platform projects,
• Knowledge in the planning and certification of offshore facilities,
• Several years of experience in negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers,
• Certified project management skills desirable,
• Knowledge of the most important standards of the offshore industry,
• Business fluent written and spoken English (preferably C1), advanced German language skills (at least B1).
