Drainage Systems Specialist - Fixed Term (m/f/x)

What You Will Achieve with Us

• Strategic development of the sewer network and creation of necessary action plans

• Conducting, validating, and evaluating hydrodynamic and hydrological sewer network and pollution load simulations

• Development of waste and stormwater concepts for the growing city (housing locations, old settlement areas, road constructions) considering regional rainwater management goals

• Creation of concepts and feasibility studies for water quality improvement measures

• Preparation of hydraulic assessments for house connections, development plans, etc.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering specialising in urban water management with solid knowledge of relevant tasks

• Alternatively: Bachelor’s degree in process engineering, environmental engineering, water management or civil engineering specialising in infrastructure with solid knowledge of relevant tasks

• Experience in hydraulic calculations and planning of wastewater disposal facilities

• Good knowledge of relevant legal regulations (e.g., WHG, WRRL)

• Business management knowledge

• Knowledge in the area of HOAI

• Desirable: Knowledge of hydraulic calculation programs (Hystem/Extran; KOSIM XL; Infoworks), GIS applications and Auto-CAD

• Moderation and presentation skills

• Strength in conceptualisation

• Effective communication and persuasive ability

Compensation

We offer you remuneration in pay group 11 according to the Tarifvertrag Versorgungsbetriebe (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, classification in a lower pay group may also be possible.
