About me
In 2011 I earned a Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Accounting from the Faculty of Economics at Damascus University. My decision to study Economics comes from my belief that economics plays a key role in all aspects of life, and is an important subject worth knowing more about. I wanted to be aware of how the business world works, including industries, businesses and governments. I also realized that it would sharpen my ability to critically assess information, deliver disciplined and well-structured arguments and become a more confident team player.

I gained excellent work experience at a mobile telecommunications company in Damascus, where I started my career as a”Dealer’s Account Coordinator” in the Sales Department. It was a great opportunity to learn how to follow up, audit and assist the main dealers´ performance and to insure that they upheld their commitment to company's distribution strategy. In appreciation of my efforts, I was promoted to my next position within the Marketing Department as a " Data Marketing Specialist" It was an important position as it dealt with the company's products and with sensitive data, and it was also crucial as all the studies and reports went directly to management and the CEO so that they could take the proper decisions. I have been very active in my professional career, so I have received a “Successful Project Completion Certificate” after implementing the Re-pricing Project of company´s product (SURF product), which was necessary due to the circumstances at the time and in order to meet the company´s obligations, also I have received a thank you letter for valuable ideas and suggestions regarding the creation of the concept for the ideal customer experience.
I realized that living a new life and starting from scratch is very hard. We cannot change our fate, but we can adapt to it. I believe that having the drive and the ambition will surely push me to achieve my long-term goal as my motto in life is to accept nothing as too difficult on account of my determination and ambition.
