I am a police force veteran with ten years of service. I currently serve in the Special Task Force (Special Response Group). I have extensive experience in risk management, hazard identification, weapons handling and safety, first aid, planning, leadership, project management and team skills.
I have obtained a Diploma of Policing and will have a Bachelor of Policing from Charles Sturt University completed in May 2024.
My family is German, but I was born in Australia. My wife is also from a German family and we wish to be with our families, who live mostly in the Baden Württemberg area. We will be moving with our two children and our dog.
I am excited to embrace change and apply myself in a new environment. I have many transferrable skills that are useful in modern workplaces. I am particularly proficient at operating under high stress conditions and making sound decisions under pressure.
I am currently formally enhancing my German skills through a private tutor, and take several lessons a week. I believe the best way to improve my language proficiency is to immerse myself in the culture.
