I was granted a scholarship to complete my undergraduate studies at the Lebanese University from which I earned a Bachelor degree in Telecommunication Sciences in 2006. With another scholarship from the Ministry of Education in Syria, I earned Master's degree in Web Sciences from the Syrian Virtual University in 2012 after which I was selected to participate in a project that aims to construct an educational decision support system for the Ministry of Education. The system collects data on students’ performance and factors affecting it from schools, processes the data using international educational standards and then provides information to the decision making body that would help it improve the educational system.
I joined the faculty of Computers Engineering at the Damascus University and the Qasyoun Private University in 2012 and I have been on the faculty board since then. I have been enjoying teaching undergraduate students different Programming Languages and Networks Technologies and training them in such innovative field. As part of my professional development, I completed training at the German Society of International Collaboration GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) and I became a core trainer supervised by the GIZ project (Regional cooperation of selected Arab countries in the vocational training sector). The project aims to develop the vocational education system by training selected individuals on the most recent and developed curricula and teaching methods. Upon completion of this training. I became a core trainer and I have trained a large number of teachers for the Ministry of Education under the supervision of GIZ.
The computer science and telecommunications technology is one of the fastest developing field in the world so I did my best to keep up with these developments, I completed various training courses in the field of database (Oracle Data Base), network (Cisco Technologies) and web programming rules and I have worked as IT Manager in LG Company in Damascus for six years.
